Fiona and Phil are finally back from Cornwall with updates from the west country…
Stop 1 – Lusty Glaze and a meeting with Jeremy Griffiths who has confirmed full safety cover for our Watergate event including Jetski’s.. The steep walk back to the car park with what felt like 100′s of steps nearly killed Fiona to the point she could hardly breathe.
Stop 2 – Watergate Bay, time to check out the beach and surf and maybe a bite to eat.
After lunch and the clock ticking as they needed to head for Falmouth. Last stop was to check on the Watergate Hotel’s conference room that will be acting as our on-line media center and sponsors chilling area… what a hotel!! it’s having a renovation at present but nearly finished – its wonderful… Fiona commented ‘Shame I was with Phil it would be a wonderful place for a week-end away’.
Stop 3 – Quick stop to pick Milly up from Falmouth Uni… as always not ready so Phil and Fiona had to watch her thread the loom. Have to say fantastic facilities an amazing building!
